Damon Johnson (l.) with Scott Gorham of Thin Lizzy.
January 16, 2021 – Ex-Thin Lizzy and Brother Cane founding member Damon Johnson has released a new video featuring his band “The Get Ready.” The video is for the song “Battle Lessons” from their upcoming new album of the same name.
Johnson released a statement regarding the video:
“We are thrilled to kick off 2021 with the release of this superb video for the title track of the upcoming album, “Battle Lessons”. “So much good stuff happening in this new clip,” Damon tells us. “The energy generated by the graphics and editing (by Carl Johnson) along with the swagger brought by Robbie and Jarred, this video is a statement to everything the new album contains and what it represents.”
The song was written by Damon and Jim Troglen, and produced by Nick Raskulinecz.
Release date of the entire 9-song Battle Lessons album is February 19, 2021.
