Country crossover star Chris Stapleton, along with Grammy award winning blues guitarist Gary Clark Jr. will appear at the celebration of Tom Petty’s seventieth (70th) birthday tonight in a live streamed event.
Stapleton, who won five Grammy awards in 2016 for Best Country Album, Best Country Solo Performance repeated the feats in 2018, winning Best Country Song as well. Clark, won four Grammys in 2020. Those awards included Best Contemporary Blues Album, Best Rock Song, Best Rock Performance and Best Traditional R&B Performance.
Other guitarists slated to appear include Lenny Kravitz, Marty Stuart, Roger McGuinn and Stephen Stills.
