Paul Chapman, most notably known for joining UFO after Michael Schenker’s departure, has died at age 66. Chapman originally joined UFO in 1974 as a touring second guitarist behind Michael Schenker. When Schenker departed in 1978, Paul was asked to join once again. He recorded four albums with UFO: “No Where to Run”, ‘The Wild, The Willing and the Innocent”, “Mechanix” and “Making Contact.” He had been living in Florida over the last several years, teaching guitar at his studio. He passed on what was his 66th birthday. Former UFO band mate Paul Raymond died last year.
