Gibson has announced a new line of guitars for NAMM 2020 featuring Guns and Roses guitarist Slash. The line features four Les Paul models and two acoustic J45 models.
The Les Paul models feature a AAA flame maple top and mahogany body, with a custom C-shape neck profile, SlashBucker™ pickups, and Slash’s “Scully” drawing on the back of the headstock among the signature flourishes. Finishes include Appetite Burst, Anaconda Burst, Vermillion Burst and November Burst. The two J45 models will be available in Vermillion Burst and November Burst. The Les Pauls feature traditional wiring and orange-drop capacitors along with a Slash-signature truss rod cover or an included blank truss rod cover. Each guitar comes with Slash’ signature Ernie Ball strings and Slash Dunlop Tortex ™ picks. A vintage-styled brown hardshell case is included with all models.
The J45s feature a custom Slash 16 inch neck radius and the included truss rod covers and picks.
