Former Rage Against the Machine and Audioslave guitarist Tom Morello has released a five-song EP named “Comandante.”
The five-song EP contains the following tracks:
- Voodoo Child
- Interstate 80 (featuring Slash)
- Secretariat (tribute to Eddie Van Halen)
- Suburban Guerrilla
- Cato Stedman & Neptune Frost
The first video release from the EP; “Interstate 80” features Tom trading guitar licks with none other than Guns and Roses guitarists Slash.
The song starts out as a hip-hop based rocker but quickly becomes a jam as Morello, with his familiar guitar sound using a Digitiech Whammy pedal, trades licks back and forth with Slash.

Morello’s gear was also featured in a display at the “Play it Loud” exhibit at the Met Museum in 2019.
