Wolfgang Van Halen, and his band Mammoth WVH have announced the first of what may become a series of tour dates. They will play the Aftershock Festival in October, 2021. Wolfgang is the son of the recently passed guitar god Edward Van Halen,
The band is on the bill for the Sunday portion of the festival. They will be playing on the same night as bands such as The Pretty Reckless, Mastodon and Metallica – who is headlining the event on Friday and Sunday night.
Van Halen has announced the members of his band whom he will take out on the road with him. Band members consist of: Wolfgang on guitar and lead vocals, Frank Sidoris (Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators ) on guitar, Garrett Whitlock (TREMONTI) on drums, and Ronnie Ficarro on bass.
Wolfgang recently released the song “Distance”, which is a tribute to his father, the late Eddie Van Halen. Van Halen stated that “Distance” will not appear on Mammoth WVH’s debut album, which is set for release in early 2021.
